Condition: C3 (Signs of very minimal use)
Came with: Heavily padded brown leather case with buckle closure and stitched seams. Construction of the case suggests a military use or application.
Notes: Character translations provided by Edward Dean Butler, of Cincinattti, OH. Dean says that the characters are identical in both Chinese and older Japanese. Several of the characters are somewhat simplified in contemporary Japanese.
